# Forager

> Forager is an AI agent for SAP that uses SAP GUI for Windows the way a person does. It answers questions about SAP data, does transactions on screen, and (soon) runs recurring SAP work as workflows. It runs on a local LLM via Ollama, so SAP data never leaves the company, and it needs no OData, BAPI, BTP or integration project. Forager is a BuzzSpire product; BuzzSpire was founded by Mert Türkoğlu.

## What it does

- Ask: plain-language questions ("last month's invoices", "how many active users", "which transaction is the stock report") answered from SAP tables with a summary, a table, a chart and Excel export
- Do: carries out transactions on SAP GUI screens step by step, asks for missing details, previews and waits for approval before saving
- Automate (coming soon): describe a recurring job once; Forager runs it on a schedule or on an event and only asks when a decision is needed

## Key facts

- Works through SAP GUI Scripting; the only server setting is `sapgui/user_scripting = TRUE` (transaction RZ11)
- Catalogs every transaction code of each connected system, company-specific Z/Y codes first
- Uses the signed-in user's own SAP authorizations; it cannot see what the user cannot see
- Production systems are read-only, enforced in code; every persistent action needs explicit approval; every action is audit-logged
- Never invents document or customer numbers: only values from the user or from SAP
- Interface and chat are in Turkish; transaction search uses SAP's Turkish and English texts
